The Homecast residence is a compact, yet comfortable design. The clients wanted a minimalist space close to their hearts. The subterranean residence spans across two floors, basement, and ground. The overall interior design maintains a streamlined tone; the use of minimal elements with a splash of decorative items enhances the overall experience. The design is minimalist and aims solely in elevating the user experience to the finest possible.

Open plan

The basement has a large entertainment space with a small pantry. Along with a personalized home theatre, it also has a study area that is directly accessible from outside for patients to consult with the doctors.

Connectivity

The ground floor dining space connects to the ground floor private living room through a sliding folding horizontally spanning wall system which can be completely opened up to create a unified space.

Interface

The house has been designed with a comprehensive automation strategy, helping the users to seamlessly control and coordinate sounds, lights, air conditioning, curtains/ blinds as well as home theater system, all operated via devices.

Accent

The basement sits in the backdrop of a soft pattern brushed concrete finish wall, which further accentuated by a customized piece of Lotus flower wall installation in a mixed medium of copper and marble adds the glamour to space.

Adaptability

The basement has an in-house home theatre; this space can be opened out to allow an even more inclusive experience. The sliding folding doors open the theatre all the way, offering visibility from the dining and drawing rooms as well, enabling better entertainment.

Experience

The space is vibrant and has a mix of pieces that the family had collected over the years. The opulence in design and selection of color palette naturally introduces a wow factor, embedding an appreciative viewpoint deep into the hearts of visitors.
